He is really more efficient than I thought he would be, The Western Sanitary Commission show him great favor, furnish him room for writing &amp;amp;c, and he gets his boarding on fair times. But he is extremely sensitive, and like his father cannot brook neglect, from high or or low stations. If he applies for instructions, do let these be sent without delay, He went to the post assigned him with the intent of doing his duty, His experience in the Army qualifies him, and gives him access to Officials
