Purcell and McFerson lived in Illinois until the 1900s when they relocated with their families to Boulder, Colorado. McFerson served in the Field Artillery during World War I.&amp;nbsp;Photographs in this collection also include images of the U. S. S. Minnesota transporting soldiers during World War I and daily life in Kewanee, Illinois.</text>
